EDUCATION CHAIR

Alooooo, hello, and salaam ISG! My name is Sheila, and I am a second year pre-psychobiology student excited to be this year’s education chair. I am from the suburbs of Sacramento, so I was very excited to come to school in Tehrangeles and embrace my Persian heritage. I hope to show as many new comers as possible that ISG is as fun as it was for me last year, and I hope to meet many new faces.  ISG is a great way to connect with other Iranians, friends, and students through culture, tradition, and delicious food, so don’t hesitate to come out to every event!  Education is something important to all of us at UCLA, but being educated about our history of the past ANd in the making is vital to being an active Iranian-American citizen, something I am proud to be. So come out, say hi, make friends, party, and eat some kabob with us!
