October 10th, 2009 - Up Close and Personal: Iranian Filmmakers Film Series
The Archive and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences will present a series of new and recent Iranian films in conjunction with the planned visit of a group of prominent Iranian filmmakers to Los Angeles. Screenings will take place at the James Bridges Theater on October 9, 10 and 11 and the Academy’s Linwood Dunn Theater in Hollywood on October 15 and 16.

September 23rd, 2009 - General Meeting
Welcome back to school! We kicked off the school year this past Monday at the Activity Fair. Hope you all got a chance to meet your new super cool board members. Our first general meeting is scheduled for October 6th at 6pm, Broad 2100A. Hope to see you all there. It's gonna be a great year!

The Iranian Student Group at UCLA stands in solidarity with the students and people in Iran and condemns the recent acts of violence. We express our sympathy to anyone who has been directly affected by the current turmoil. We hope for a swift and positive result that brings peace and democracy to the Iranian people.

Winter Quarter has started, and we would like to welcome two new additions to our board: Pardis Backheshi as our new Finance Chair, and Arash Khalili as our new Webmaster. Also, the Big Bear Ski Trip was a success. Those who missed it can make up for it next year! Pictures from the ski trip will be posted soon in the gallery section.

Welcome all to a new year and sorry for the lack of updates! The ISG website is undergoing some host maintenance so bare with us! In the meantime check out the events sections with an updated list of events coming up!
November 8th, 2006 - Site Changes
No drastic changes have been to the website except that the poll has been removed. We hope that you are coming back often to visit our site and keep an eye out on events being hosted! If you look at the events section you will see a section called "Featured Events". Gallery has been slightly updated with more pictures to be added.
October 6th, 2006 - Gallery Updates
Thank you for all attending our first meeting and picnic. We hope you enjoyed the activities as much as we did. There is yet more to come so make sure you check out the Calendar of Events. Also, the gallery section has been updated with pictures from the past week's events.

September 18th, 2006 - New Website Address
UCLA's Iranian Student Group now has a new website address in addition to the current one. You won't have to update your bookmarks but you'll be glad to know that it'll be easy to remember our additional address: UCLAisg.com. In the mean time check out the new calendar installed in the events section.
